From "subscribed to the belief that there’s an ‘integrity’ to a gameplay experience that has to be maintained – ‘min/maxing’, or any kind of gameplay style that involves pushing mechanics as far as they can go for optimum results (or tactics like zerg rushing, etc...) is something I’ve always found abhorrent and also kind of boring. In a Paradox game, this could apply to anything from exploiting the marriage system to inheriting half the world in Crusader Kings 2, or being unnecessarily ruthless to other players in a Europa Universalis IV multiplayer session. Always strive to win, but try to make it interesting and don’t be a dick about it.".
