Could the Xbox One be the first major console in history to not have its name on the box?
he Xbox ad campaign writes itself... The Xbox ONE, one game, one account, one player, one mandatory 24 hour log in, The xbox one, you won't want ONE.
Well it has a Xbox logo on the console so not really.
Selling point right here...
I don't think your allowed to right s%^% on a box on purpose.
This all comes down to branding and how you see the console. The "one" most likely refers to it being an all in one media solution, so I've always read the one as something of a tag line. Not like it really matters, I am sure somewhere in the serial numbers / back or under the system will have the mention of "Xbox One" making this point moot.
Silly article.. Xbox One looks beautiful from the angle shown in that pic.
Day one buy for me. Can't wait.
Yeah me too....
For real? This is an article?? I know Xbox One is hot topic right now and people are trying to have unique articles about it but come on!
Xbox One will be delayed, will have a name changed and redesign. Sony scared MS into rushing there new console. I expect a delay
They don't want to scare customers away by telling them what it is
Well apparently it is the most pre-ordered hardware item in the 24 year history of UK Blockbusters which is kinda sad because it's teaching them that consumers don't mind being bent over and taken for a ride.
Nobody goes to blockbusters in the UK. They nearly folded this year already. The likely hood is that their preorders are Tiny as most.
We will see how well its conceived after its on the market for a couple months. When the people that don't know about the issues will be exposed to them first hand.
See? Even MS thinks the name 'One' is terrible.
It isn't an xbox anyway.....
they are saving the space so they can add comcast or whoever, helps them so they can put the system in everybody homes. hell without a insignia its not offical, but hey more power and that thing.
