The After Math: An Xbox One special

Welcome to The After Math, where we attempt to summarize this week's tech news through numbers, decimal places and percentages.

We doubt you missed it, but Microsoft unveiled its new games console this week, and it even showed off some Xbox One hardware to prove it. While the new name is offering casual gamers a bit of confusion -- Google "Xbox One" for a taste -- the specifications sound like they could make for one very potent console. Billions of transistors? We're just hoping they ensure there's plenty of Covenant to shoot in the requisite Halo sequel. There was a very heavy focus on TV, Call of Duty and sports games, so plenty of big-hitter titles to get excited about. But numbers and decimals make us just as happy, so join us for plenty of 'em after the break.

You got to like that list it show's how shitty the event and this console is. Though who knew they dedicated 15 minutes to cod i thought i was only 10 max huh.

Belking2502d ago

you're hating dude....lol Xbox-one will be awesome. Of course this is the mighty N4G so I get all the hate.

ORIELKILLER2502d ago

Good think that is only your opinion because if it was the truth i will be worry lol

SexyGamerDude2502d ago

Go to the Xbox.com forums. You will see plenty of people complaining about the same things.

MysticStrummer2502d ago

What will it take for you to admit this is not just an issue on N4G? Your level of denial is astounding.

rainslacker2502d ago

Can I ask you something? Does MS provide you with a lifetime supply of lube? Or does it make you pay for that too?

If you want to get into specifics, it was around 13 minutes, but that's just nitpicking. Either way, it was an absolutely outrageous amount of time for, of all things... Call of Duty at a console reveal.

Unrelated to the comment above - Isn't "Aftermath" one word?

Cut Microsoft some slack. What did you expect them to show? Exclusives? C'mon. You know that's too much for them to do...

rainslacker2502d ago

Hey now Rusty, be fair...half the games they showed were exclusives.

Good bye sony4g.com. I own all 3 current gen, enjoy and use them, still playing bowling on wii when people come over, but really, n4g, you guys really sold out, not even close to impartial, and blind to the future, go play with your games console, will leave you behind....

SexyGamerDude2502d ago

I own a 360 and even I have to admit that Microsoft has really messed up.

MysticStrummer2502d ago

I see.

Another person blaming N4G. You and Belking should hang out.

This is not just an issue on N4G and it's not just Sony fans talking about it.

There are upset people all over the internet, longtime MS fans included.

There are questions in several countries about the legality of One's capabilities.

MS's own patents detail the type of privacy invasion that no one should want. Their response is that they file patents all the time. Not exactly a denial.

Defend them if you like but you are the one who seems fan-boyish. Wake up and look around.

Belking2502d ago

They have the nerve to call the console shitty when they haven't even touched the thing yet...lol That's why i say this site is the equivalent of a gossip tabloid.

GreenRanger2502d ago (Edited 2502d ago )

MS are dead to me.

rainslacker2502d ago (Edited 2502d ago )

Is that because it's too big to pick up in Megazord mode?

Edit:One article, 3 sarcastic comments...go me!
