I think we need music games with more than just licensed music. i like dj hero because it was actually brand-new music. okay, so it was two licensed songs mashed together, but the tracks were new to the game.
Harkki, I'd have to agree. DJ Hero expanded the franchise to more music, audiences, etc. I do like Guitar Hero but when you limit it to just typical Rock & Metal, it doesn't appeal to certain audiences. The 80s were an example of what great music & collaborations, can do. ;)
