Alive Game Zone - Creating a video game itself is a tough job to handle and it is even more difficult when it comes to creating an open world. Jean Guesdon explains the difficulty in creating an open-world.
Unfortunately, I am not excited or hyped for another Assassins Creed. I feel that the series is becoming more and more predictable. For a while, I worked on the concept of having an assassins creed game take place during the era in which Western powers invaded japan, and you as a samurai fought for your country and tradition.Within the story, you are betrayed by your fellow samurai, and banished. While floating at sea, you are picked up by a European mercenary ship. It is there in which you learn the way of the assassin and how to use Western weaponry. Blah, blah, blah, you eventually journey back home to find you home war-torn and destroyed and blah blah blah, revenge. I didn't really go into depth with the story, after learning about the movie "The Last Samurai", my creativity just stopped due to me knowing that the concept had already been done before. However, I did create a LOT of concept art and gameplay mechanics notes, and I'm working on making a blog of some sort to show my concepts for other games.
