T-Ono | Song of Saya ~ Saya no Uta (PC) Review

"What do you get when you mix Silent Hill, Shallow Hal, and Species with a little dab of Hannibal or the Japanese movie the Last Supper? You get something pretty close to Nitroplus' horror visual novel Song of Saya ~ Saya no Uta, written by Gen Urobochi, the author of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero, and published by JAST USA."

The story is too old to be commented.

This game really affected my mood. Which is rare. It's so freaking depressing. The atmosphere, the music, and the twists it presents are all top notch. I just wish there were some way to disable the sex scenes... Other than that though, the story was really great. All the endings were really good too. Very highly recommend this VN.

Definitely one of my favorite VNs of all-time. I haven't quite found anything that remotely comes close in terms of Saya's grotesque atmosphere. Save for Higurashi....maybe.
