Destructoid: "We've just gone hands-on with the Xbox One controller here at Microsoft HQ. While they're not letting us play any games yet, it was still a good opportunity to check out the hand feel and get a closer look. "
Yeah I like it cant wait to sample the trigger buttons.
Very nice indeed, still I can't believe they used AA batteries...
Sesame street controller XD
Congrats. You now have a rep for being an adult who watches Sesame Street. Creep. -Edited for the :)
@Steve don't be so defensive He could have grown up with Sesame Street. Besides, the controller is very nice, the console on the other hand..
That really do, so much so I feel I will just melt holding it. The Xbox360 was the best controller current gen. No need for fanboys to get their panties in a bunch, it's just my opinion. And the Wii remote is not a controller to me. This could beat out the Wii U's controller although they're almost similar.
The controller was the best part of the show,it actually looks good!
Yup, and one of the most important things about a console.
The controller is the only good thing that came out of the conference, but I dont need a controller like that to just watch TV a controller like that needs games and I didnt see much...
Do you really think there will be no games? MS said a month ago the conference was going to concentrate on the console and features, and they did just that. In under a month they have a conference at E3 to show off the games. Edit: You know, disagreeing doesn't change a fact right?
AA batteries?! I swear xbox one reveal was like 1993. Boring design from the 90's plus AA batteries. hahaha, I swear MS have the worst designers ever.
Microsoft is more of software company not a hardware company
handles look too small.
Wonderful looking controller. I almost want an Xbox one JUST for the controller lol :D
Glad they changed the D-pad, and also added an internal battery!
Why move the X? it as perfect where it was.
The x placement on the current X360 pad is the one minor thing I really hate about the controller. I can't count the numerous time I accidently hit that silver button while playing a game. By moving it up higher, that won't be any problem anymore.
Based on the pics I've seen today, I believe it's just for show now and not used as the guide button anymore.
Xbox one has every game that ps4 has except for Sony first party ips and vise versa
I agree, thats why i will be buying either a ps4 or the new xbox. I own a good pc and a wii u, i just cant decide which to get. At this time they are all kind of "meh"
And yet you own a Wii U.
What do you like then if they are all "meh".
Wait do I still need batteries or can I plug it in to charge or is their a batterie pack? They need to tell us that soon.
they said it still takes batteries it was just a smaller compartment for them along with the battery packs as well.they need to ditch that whole thing just silly to me.
Thanks!! Well that sucks!!
Have they said if the old ones will still work? Or if we can use this one on a PC with the current adapter?
triggers look huge!
Has similar shape as this -- ( http://www.nyko.com/$assets... ) Wouldn't you agree? Also noticed N4G hasn't changed the heading on their website with the new XBox - still XB720 written.
i like the dualshock 4 better.
I see they still have the left joystick in the wrong place...
Most people prefer it like that for shooters. There's sort of like a science behind it. It gives you much better coordination. But then again, it was never a bad thing to have analog sticks side by side when it came to shooters. I played many FPS games on the PS3's dualshock and I thought the feeling was just fine.
