PS3 Ads in L.A. Contains More Than Just a Ad

Today, one of our ps3.net editors recently went downtown in Los Angeles and found these startling images about the PS3 and the exclusive PS3 title "Heavenly Sword".

What Sony is doing is much better than what M$ did with their dumb crop circles. At least the people can get neet stuff when they solve these codes.

maybe they'll win an affordable system and a rumble feature

guyincognito6490d ago (Edited 6490d ago )

Been as though you know so much about this I take it you solved it and have got this said neet stuff? Maybe a ticket to the biggest release party of the console, oh wait, that what you could win from MS. Funny that, don't think sony will be able to afford something like that with the amount of losses they've been taking recently. but may be the other guy is right, you may get an affordable system?

Videos? apparantly the code has been cracked. and all you get is New footage of the games. and i'll tell ya, I'm not that impressed. Seen it before, i rather new games or a banner saying "Oh, forgot to mention, the PS3 isn't really cost an arm and a leg, its only £280 like the 360!"

I'll buy one when it is actually cheap, not cheap for a blu-ray player, and when it has some games that are proven to be good, not just said to be good.

We've already seen all the old ones, after they cracked it the 1st time. But this is a compleetly different code all together, and has something to do with Heavenly Sword. and ive tried many ways, and still cant get it.

As for invites to the "huge bash" to celebrate the release of the PS3... they have already sent out invitations and did so a while back. You had to be a member of Underground though.

so yeah, if you notice, they changed their playb3ond.com site. when you check the code, it says this in it: "you are clever no more freebies" hahaha

Bhai6490d ago

Wow, great find indeed. This approach of marketing is indeed awesome. Its very interactive and gaming appears to be sneaking into the real world, awesome Sony, the direction is superb to take !!!

Adversary6490d ago

The code starts to repeat itself again about half way through. Might be significant *shrug*

Phlapp6490d ago

Well according to here http://www.joystiq.com/2006...

the code reads F G H I J F G H I

Doesn't mean much to me but I guess someone may know what this is!

Shaolin Monks next please

Shaolin Monks is a forgotten gem. I would love to see a new one, or a remake of the old.

That game was actually goated. It was the first time ever that I actually tried to get good at a fighting game. Unfortunately the online connection was so dogshit it made it hard to enjoy and eventually I gave up. Haven't really played much fighting games since.

The Industry Needs To Modernize These 6 Fantastic Classics

The Simpsons: Hit and Run, The Legend of Dragoon, and Chrono Trigger would benefit substantially from a modern remake.

Knightofelemia1d 7h ago (Edited 1d 7h ago )

The Xenosaga trilogy, the Wild Arms games, Xenogears, Parasite Eve, Dino Crisis, Suikoden. The Warriors game I know nothing about but it looks interesting. Anybody can do a list of games they want to see get modernized I would lose my shit if Namco brought the Xenosaga trilogy to modern consoles.
