"The Magic of Dedicated Hardware:" An Emulation Enthusiast's Rejoinder

On Saturday at EuroGamer, an article was posted that argued that the proper way to enjoy a game is on the hardware it was designed for. But is this fair? This article offers a different perspective: one where emulation is not only a valid way to play games, but a good thing for classic gaming overall.

I don't get why many people are attached to old cheaply made hardware. Most games over 10 years old are much better through emulation, and old console games can be enjoyed easily with wireless gamepads and better support for modern displays.

True lol, I have so many old Roms on my PC. Not really possible to have old consoles from different gens and their accessories laying around.

Its a sad situation as long as console BC is concerned. Great i buy all my multiplats on the PC. No having to worry about not being able to play all those games in the future.

I love emulation as it make accessible many great games. I wish there was a way to pay for the ROMs/ISOs directly from the publishers so that we can play them on our favorite emulators. I love HD Texture packs!!

Elden Ring Nightreign Review | NoobFeed

NoobFeed editor Joy writes - Elden Ring Nightreign is definitely a game that is hard to get wrong, considering it's based on a solid foundation of Elden Ring. Given the huge expectations set by FromSoftware's reputation, I can see how many would consider the game imperfect, but it definitely delivers when it comes to giving you a fun experience.

Popucom Review | NoobFeed

Zahra from NoobFeed writes- Hypergryph has managed to create a game that welcomes all ages and skill levels without compromising depth. With around 11 hours of main content, collectible hunts, and Party Mode chaos, POPUCOM earns its place as a standout couch co-op title. It's chaotic, creative, and bursting with heart—and hopefully, a sign of more surprises from Hypergryph's growing universe.
