Albatron 9800GX2 - NVIDIA's graphics card sandwich arrives

"Albatron is one of the first to officially announce the new GeForce 9800GX2. The "sandwich" design which has been heavily debated is all there, and one of the keys to bringing NVIDIA back to the top of the hill, unfortunately it seems that the reviews are a bit late. NVIDIA is still perfecting the drivers, including the Quad SLI support, and even we will see more than a few GeForce 9800GX2 surface over the coming days, we're still waiting for the first full reviews.

Albatron GeForce 9800GX2 is the, for once, easy name of this well equipped cards sporting two G92 graphics circuits on two separate PCBs. The GPUs operate at 600MHz, while the shader processors are clocked at 1500MHz and the GDDR3 memory work at 2000MHz. Albatron uses NVIDIA's reference design and as we've mentioned several times in the past, there will most likely only be reference cards.
