Hehe even Galaxy S4 is a Development Kit... big deal M$ lol!

Starbucks_Fan3944d ago

Kind of random question- is the S4 a BIG upgrade from the S3? I'm debating which one I want. I have to pay full price in order to keep my old school unlimited plan at Verizon.

MrGunny943944d ago

Well.. Yeah it's a huge improvement to be honest in terms of camera and hardware.. But you know it doesn't needs an upgrade if you don't use stuff like that =/

Really depends on persons..

@Starbucks_Fan

yes it is: here is the break down

S4 cpu:

1.6 GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 and 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 (GT-I9500 version) OR
1.9 GHz quad-core Krait 300 (GT-I9505 version)

S4 gpu:
IT tri-core PowerVR SGX 544 GPU (GT-I9500 version)
Adreno 320 (GT-I9505 version)

S3 cpu:

1.4 GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 (international, AU, and KR versions)
1.5 GHz dual-core Krait (NA and JP versions)

S3 gpu:

Mali-400MP4 (international, AU, and KR versions)
Adreno 225 (NA and JP versions)

@GunzBlazing09

100% correct even right now the S3 is still very robust to run every game and app on the playstore. The GPU is very stout, even though the S4 is better they will mainly be pretty much performance running app's exactly the same unless the developers decide to take advantage of the hardware. which pretty much right now most developers are still targeting single core 800 MHz to 1.2 GHz for most app's even today with all app's.

god damn mobile games, cant stand them

hellvaguy3943d ago

Yet your here taking up time to comment on something you hate. You do know smart phones can do other things too right, despite your out of left field troll on the games aspect.

bub163943d ago

I have time to spare so why not comment, also i'm not a fan boy. i just know what i like and dislike. i still read news about these things. And I know smartphones can do other thing than gaming, but when a gaming website puts up news, it opens the topic for discussion about GAMES!
