AR: Re-Volt Classic is another game that takes savvy players down memory lane. The reboot of the popular console racing game from the late 90′s just dropped for Android.
It is a game based on racing radio-controlled cars, old-school style, across different type of tracks and against computer-generated and controlled competitors.
AppSpy: Re-Volt Classic brings with it a mixed bag of emotions - nostalgic fans will no doubt enjoy the game's mostly faithful replication of the classic game, however those who are trying the game out for the first time may be put off by the stock-standard, and mostly outdated 'Kart' gameplay and physics.
Touch Arcade: It makes you wonder sometimes how a developer decides which franchises to remake. Not that 1999’s Re-Volt for the PC and consoles of the day is less deserving of a remake than any other game, but I can’t help asking why this one, and why now?
Touch Gen: Every time this game cross path with me it means that I get an urge to spend money. Not on the game itself, and definitely not on iAP as there are none to be found. Nope, what happens is that I want to go to a toy store, and get myself a cool RC car. I want to race all around my neighbourhood tearing across the grass, doing a burnout outside my neighbour that hasn’t raked up the leaves from his trees yet. I want to jump over cars, and take turns on two wheels.
