7o0k 1m $o0o co07 f0r b31n9 +3# f1r$+ 7o7~1!!

Hehe just kidding ;-)

That attach rate is pretty impressive. I'm right at that number with five games, six tomorrow with Splinter Cell Double Agent. There's no doubt that once Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, WWE SVR '07 and many more games are released this holiday season that the attach rate will rise.

The Xbox 360 continues to impress and I'm glad I'm a proud 360 owner.

no_more_heroes6257d ago

the 360 only sold 200k units, but last month it sold 260k units. This month it will rise again to more than 300k (well, recent post says something like that I think) and will probably continue to rise for the next year. ;)

is splinter cell out today? i thought it was out in NOV.

someone tell this poor boy (that's me) how in the hell i am suppose to afford all these games coming out.

i am going to have to pick & choose. it is like saying, pick your favorite kid...I love them all!

(i only have two kids, but "all" served better in that sentence, lol)

HEY! Dusty...you guys should add a monthly game release chart for each system...that would be cool.

STICKzophrenic6257d ago

Splinter Cell came out today. I picked up my copy at EB Games about 30 minutes after they opened. I could have had it right when they opened, but the guy had to process the games.

I played through the training sessions a little bit, but I got hungry and wanted to check here. I'll post back and let you know how it is sometime later.

5.1 games attach ratio! That's pretty impressive...

Mikey_Gee6257d ago (Edited 6257d ago )

Hahahahahahaha

Dude, I know what you mean !!

:-)

I have been saying the same thing ....

I NEED A SECOND JOB JUST TO KEEP UP WITH THE AWSOME GAMES COMING OUT !!

Pre-Ordered:
- the Wireless Headset
- GOW
- COD3
- Picking up SPlinter Cell today

STILL MUST HAVE
- Assains Creed
- HalfLife 2
- FEAR
- Smackdown VS Raw
- Allan Wake
- Brother In Arms
and the list goes on and on ...

MS is REALLY IMPRESSING me with the game line-up they have on the 360.

BUT STILL ........... My money tree issue is still one I need to sort out !!

Cheers

"Microsoft are also on target to selling over 10 million Xbox 360 units worldwide by the end of the holiday period."

This is what I like to see...anways yea I make really good money and can afford all the games I want I just dont have any time to play them all, I want COD3, FEAR, GEARS, Splinter cell, Rainbow Six, Tiger Woods, and I know their is something I am missing, and these all come out by today or in the next 2 months, this is rediculous!

Anerythristic266257d ago

There are a couble of Sony guys that keep putting the 360 at 5 million. I checked it hit 6 million SOLD in August. So it's actually well on it's way to 10 million.

""Microsoft are also on target to selling over 10 million Xbox 360 units worldwide by the end of the holiday period."

Keep it up

What truly surprised me is that attach rate. 5 games PER console. HOLY SH!T. That is completely unprecedented for ANY console. And I have no doubt that it shall continue to grow thorugh 2007.

MS are setting some hig bars for its competitors. I wonder if ps3 can match the 360s attach rate.

The 7 Best Xbox 360 Games - Console Exclusives Win the Day

The Xbox 360 was a fantastic console in its day with some truly classic titles, but what are the seven best games for the console?

DrDoomer2d ago

I'm pretty used to these lists being bad, but this one is particularly s#ite.

raWfodog2d ago

I think Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon should have been added to the list.

BrainSyphoned2d ago

I'll go with,
Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Culdcept Saga, Shadow Complex, Ace Combat 6 with the flight stick,A Kingdom for Keflings, A World of Keflings.
Bonus Kinect Games: Happy Action Theater and Sesame Street.
*Skyrim was so bad on PS3 that it almost deserves to be #1*

Husker42c2d ago

I really loved Shadow Complex.

P_Bomb1d 22h ago

Ah yes, Shadow Complex! Good indies back in the day. Summer of Arcade. I enjoyed Trials Evolution as well.

DeusFever2d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Was this made by a.i.? No human being would put Shadowrun, Fable III, and Splinter Cell: Conviction into a list of the 7 best Xbox 360 games.

Abnor_Mal2d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Would love to play Ace Combat6 on PlayStation, but Xbox decided to buy exclusivity and keep it off a competing platform.

The only mainline game I never played except for one level at a friends place. Game sold less than any other in the series if I remember correctly.

darthv721d 17h ago

360 had Namco hitters AC6 and RR6... both quality titles. You should at least bust out the 360 for AC6 if you can score the flight stick. Its great.

When the current gen XBOX offering is so lacking people need to refer to games released two generations back....

Profchaos1d 9h ago (Edited 1d 9h ago )

It's a nostalgia peice same reason we get thousands of YouTube videos on sega genisis. Something people have fond memories for but the era is long gone.

It's xboxs golden year imo it was their genisis years the time where they stuck it to the market leaders Sony.

BehindTheRows1d 6h ago

They stuck nothing. Sony screwed themselves giving Xbox an opening. They would have gotten the usual smack down if the PS3 had launched at $399 and was easier to develop for.
