"It’s tempting to suggest that Pandora’s Tower occupies a design space floating sweetly between Castlevania and Shadow of the Colossus. The game’s ambitious agenda seems ever eager to marry elements of both to create a masterpiece. A sword and a length of chain that allows the game’s protagonist, Aeron, to grapple enemies as well as the environment, offers a chance to feel something like a Belmont, while the gravity of Aeron’s quest grabs at the narrative weight one might expect from a Ueda title.", writes Siliconera.
It has been 10 years since Xenoblade arrived in the US, we look back at how the game almost never showed up if not for a group of dedicated fans.
I wish The Last Story would make a comeback.I played it years before I got around to Xenoblade. Mainly because of the scalping going on because of Xeno's limited run. It took me a few tries to get into it but once I did I couldn't put it down. A Wii hidden gem for sure.
I wish the Last Story get a Switch remaster or remake. That game deserves a second chance
For the Wii’s 15th birthday, here’s a list of 15 Wii games that deserve ports or sequels.
GameCrate: "What Wii games should get a remake on Switch? Well, here are five suggestions!"
I know it's not a Wii title but it can be played on the Wii I want the Metroid Prime games on the Switch I have never played them.
This game rocks. I think it got lost in the shuffle behind Xenoblade and The Last Story. People have forgotten about it now since its been a year since the other two released and many people expected a rpg which this isn't. Castlevania meets SOTC is a very fitting name actually. Has those great designed Metroidvania levels with beautiful art direction, minimalist cast and story, and bad ass bosses that are a puzzle in themselves. This will become a cult classic for sure.
Hate the time limit though. That same boss made me run out of time. Got to him with a full bar but after an hour I had to retreat. Il say it again I HATE time limits but at least it fits the story.
