Super PolyPixel – Game of Thrones has a linguist on staff. For what, you ask? To develop fictional languages for the different populations strewn across the lands of Westeros. Linguist, David J. Peterson, revealed in an interview that one of the words he made up for a particular language, High Valryian, is a tribute to Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest.
