Megan Myrick writes: "That's right, for less than $2,000 you can own your very own soul. What you would do with a soul is a little questionable, but I suppose if that's what you want, this is the game to back."
Bryan Rumsey writes: "This is the first metroidvania style game I have seen that employs a more relaxed vibe over its combat and exploration. The visuals are seemingly influenced by modern animation greats such as Miyazaki and Disney Studios and add to the feature animated film feel."
Heard about this forever ago, nice to see progress being made, and that it's heading to kickstarter.

Even so, he became one heck of a cocky creature and is the "chosen one" who will fulfill a prophecy and save all his amphibian brethren. That's the setup for the game Mongrel which is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. What kind of game is it exactly? It's described as a Metroidvania title, although so far there's not too much displayed of the game to know too much more."
