Crackdown HD Trailer

Crackdown pushes the action-driving hybrid genre into the next generation with the introduction of the first-ever truly 3-dimensional persistent playground, highly innovative co-op gameplay and an extensive prop interaction system all while taking place in a massive and highly-stylized urban center.

Players are called to unleash explosive judicial oppression on the most powerful, organized crime syndicates in existence. Restitution is the only goal. Players must crackdown on crime, decipher the organization of the gangs, and eliminate the kingpins. All strategies and tactics are acceptable provided players clean up the streets.

TeamXbox have the latest trailer of Crackdown in HD for your viewing pleasure.

Game looks like it will be super fun!

Wotbot6320d ago

Yep this game looks cool, and so much better when in action.

They get a pass on the graphical presentation from me because I really like that they stated the game world is HUGE and open. I really look forward to that type of game with decent visuals than a pretty game that is shallow and linear. As a matter of fact they stated they kept the visual style simple because the game world is so massive. This one is a preorder for me.

I was put off by the game a little also because of its graphics but as I watch more of it in action I see that this will be something different from most that is out there and I can't wait to play it. All the gangs and stuff going on it in put it over Saints Row for me also even though I will probibly own both, I am just a little tired of the busting caps in the hood genre, even though crackdown is a little in the future that is the difference for me. San Andreas was the only one of those that NEEDED to be done.

Would be bad ass if they did the Warriros style gangs in a HUGE game like this. I found Warriors to be a very linear game with open world tossed in their because it was done by rockstar and it is almost required to HAVE it. But it was a great game, Warriors was a great game even with the control problems.

They’ve been working the past few years and have become proficient in that department so I definitely think they are capable of such a feat. Their BC through emulation that can natively upscale blows my mind and gives them an advantage over competitors using multiple hardware settings which requires higher clock speeds and produces more heat.

I caught Chaos Theory on sale and was actually blown away by how it scaled on the One X.

Ninja Gaiden 2 in 8k please

ziggurcat1312d ago

I imagine that they'll carry over the functionality of the X regarding playing previous gen games to the series X.

They better have good support for backwards compatibly.... Since they have no 1st pay games LMAO 😂

Why are you laughing at your own joke? It wasn't funny.

ElementsUnknown1311d ago (Edited 1311d ago )

“compatibly”, “1st pat games”: Are those supposed to be “compatibility” and “first party games”? Doesn’t really come across as an adult. No disrespect, legit question: is English not your first language?
