You read right: in the year 2084, that last bit has become an unfortunate reality, thanks to the rise of memory digitization technology — at least, according to developer Dontnod’s upcoming action-adventure title Remember Me. In what the developers refer to as a 'consensual dictatorship,' citizens of Remember Me’s future world have chosen to equip themselves with 'sensation engines': eerie, glowing neural implants that digitally record memories so they can be stored, shared, or, in some cases, subverted."
