David Hayter comments on not being in Metal Gear Solid V

David Hayter, the voice actor of Solid Snake, will not be in Metal Gear Solid V. He's made his first comments on this since it became official earlier today.

This is sad to hear... I can't play as Snake without David Hayter's voice... I mean, I'll have to give it a try, but it's just going to be so weird.

First Michael Ironside not doing the voice acting for Sam Fisher in Splintercell and now Hayter supposedly not playing Snake in MGS V. Could just be another Kojima troll move, but if it is true that makes me sad. Like if Sony decided to dump TC Carson as the voice actor for Kratos.

at E3 they will announce MGS5 will be coming to PS4 exclusively for NEXT GEN.

i dont see why not.. 360 and PS3 have a big enough Consoles sold to make this happen..

Why....thats ridiculous, you don't get rid of iconic voice actors unless they desperately want out or if they die.

It's like replacing Nolan in Uncharted, Downes in the main Halo games or Carson in God of War. You just don't do it

sad to see that hayter's not a part of MGSV, but it makes sense. if the series continues in the direction it's heading now, there's a very good chance that we'll see a game in the future where big boss and young snake finally face off against one another (in 3d). a meeting truer to canon where emotions and tensions can run high, rather than a retconned explanation..."No wait, there was a man who said he was my father." oh, really? because that never actually happened in either Metal Gear or Metal Gear 2. it's time to rectify the past and bring the story full circle. how odd would that be to have the same voice for both characters? this move was foreshadowed in MGS4; two snakes=two different voices. they're just prepping for the future.

Atleast, that's how I see it.

I am serious, David Hayter needs to voice Solid Snake in any future games, but Richard Doyle needs to take over as Big Boss.

I have a theory.

He will not play Big Boss, but I think Solid Snake will make a guest appearance. So there will be David Hayter. Plus I'm pretty sure if you watch the trailer when he starts singing about extraordinary people in stead of "not your kind of people" I think the guy waking in the hospital is Solid Snake being lied to and thinking he is Big Boss.

Idk. Its all to much. This trailer came out on the day my first born son came into this world... to much for one man. destiny.
