10 Games We Need to See on XBLA/PSN/Wii VC/Ware

Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and now Wii Ware are home to some of the greatest classic games from our past. Many of them have been rejuvenated with online co-op, online leader boards and HD graphics. Although there have been some great additions to the respective services, here are ten more games we need to see on XBLA, PSN, and Wii Ware.

I totally agree. A face lift would be awesome, but IMO EWJ was one of the best games ever.

gosh, I can't remember how much I spent on that game on the arcade.

MVC2 would be such a phenomenal addition to the XBLA.

Oh and I never realized that people as good as the players in that video.

C'mon Capcom, stop making us ask and just give it to us already! We're tired of waiting!

Both Capom & Marvel said they wanted to make Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but Capcom doesn't have the Marvel license any more. They can't even make any more MvC2 discs for the PS2.

I don't have a source from Capcom or Marvel, but Capcom mentioned it in a Street Fighter IV video-interview.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 in the same agenda as StreetFighter HD, that would probably be awesome.

MvC 2 would end me. I've put well over 300 hours into that game.
I used to play with my buddy overnight, for many, many nights. what a great game......

yeah, when I played that game, the feeling was much better than most of the games i've played so far. I always had the excitement when I play that game. That's the only game that was not overrated.

Halo 3 was crap compared to MVC2. All of modern game developers should think about the past a bit. I haven't seen any games that can beat....

Action 2D shooting, two players: Contra 3
Action 2D shooting, single play: Mega Man X-X3
2D Fighting Game: MVC2
Gun Shooting: Duck whatever. I forgot the title, but I had like a bazooka and you had to shoot ducks and dishes. It's for SNES

What has happened to the good old days? Current gen games only have good graphics, but nothing too interesting.

COD4 and Uncharted are the only two games that I think are good. Other games so far have been disappointed.

Imagine X-Men arcade...with four-player LIVE co-op...

...and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, with online multiplayer...

...and I think I'd give my left testicle for Quake 3 on LIVE.

mvc2 is like the god of 2d games
but coming to xblive would be kinda weird since the xbox control wasnt met for fighters

I have never played any 2d fighting game that's better than MVC2. guilty gears is no where closed to that game.

character animation is sweet. Imagine capcom remix it to HD. gosh, feel like orgasm.

Very appealing. The idea of MVC2 online and some of those four player games on XBLA/PSN is very sexy. Someone needs to make the petition!

I think since Sony does not consider PS2 dead yet so it will not be on PSN anytime soon (MVC2) So... I own it and play it still so not worried even though I think it would be cool. but with SF2 HD Turbo Remix right around the corner... I just think they are gonna keep classics back past last gen on PSN. i.e. Dreamcast, Xbox and PS2 era are prolly out for now anyway. However A cool port of Xmen arcade or Simpsons would be cool. Utilize the possible 7 controllers the PS3 is supposed to handle on some Xmen would be sick imo.

The only thing I want is that Simpson's Game I could care less about the others but that fighting game Marvel VS Capcom 2 sounds cool.
