Tencent's $330M Epic Games investment absorbed nearly half of dev's stock

Polygon:Massive Chinese internet company Tencent snatched up 48.4 percent of Epic Games' available capital shares for $330 million last summer, giving the company the right to nominate directors to the North Carolina-based studio's board , according to Tencent's financial reports.

I guess this is the reason why many key figures have left..Epic is now under the control of Tencent just like Runic games..

Wow is all I can think be snatched up by a company who has no idea how you handle things and to have totally different visions had to of been a gut blow.
