The Interplay website has come back up with an interesting picture on its front page, as many forums have reported.
From top clockwise: EarthWorm Jim, a female drow from Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, a concept art of Fallout Online, and Coil from MDK.
Not other information is on there, aside from these keywords that are embedded at the site: video games vintage fallout descent earthworm jim console PC playstation xbox rpg classic interplay black isle studios mmorpg.
Supposedly, in about two weeks Interplay will submit a new 10-Q (i.e., a quarterly performance report that public companies must submit to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.) Maybe we'll learn more about what's going on then.

Anyone notice that other the anonymous registration (network solutions) Interplay - if they still own the domain is playing it very close to the chest.
OTOH http://www.gamespot.com/new...
Interplay can and does hold the intellectual property rights for all the franchises indicated in the images on the website
The drow would have to be called something else (Dark Elves anyone?) as Interplay can not use the DND universe (Baldur's Gate, Forgotten Realms) but they own the Dark Alliance property
Hope it happens. I'm dying to see MDK and Jim back.
Ah. I had Earthworm Jim for the SNES. Good times.
I would like to see him on PS3, would be... a surreal feeling.
If you were here, you could probably gather BG-fanboy drool by the gallons. Too bad its only DA.
Seriously though, I can't wait to see if they can get it going again.
A new Earthworm Jim, perhaps even better a remake of part 1, would be fantastic. Now if only they would release EWJ1 on Arcade...
