Falcom released a glimpse of the combat system in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash. The upcoming game uses a command style battle system with options like attack, move, equipment, arts, and craft. Not arts & crafts like in high school, but arts as in "orbal arts" and "craft" as in character abilities like Estelle’s morale boosting shout and Joshua’s evil glare.

While no English version for Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash or Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash II have been announced, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has plans to bring the RPG to other regions.
