Well deserved Gabe.I think Valve is the greatest video game developer in this days, it's how they treat their customers and their fans that really sets them apart from most other companies.

Agreed, Valve sell their game cheap, plus free DLC support.
Also Valve support people who want to make their own game, also people can trade and sell their stuff over steam, plus people can make their own mods and DLC, and if people want, then it will be in game.
Look at EVIL Activision, Ubisoft and EA, they price every DLC, and wants to even DRM game.

So does this mean that you can finally start development on HL Ep3?

Money is rolling in so your fat a$$ can afford to hire more staff now.

I am one of the 50%. Steam is amazing. I joined a few months ago and have about 100 games already.

Yeah well don't forget about Half Life know the game we've heard nothing about in like 6 years despite the last one ending on a cliff hanger.

Very true, but consider that the complete lack of info is info in itself.

That and Source 2 has been confirmed in development.

Besides Half Life 3 is going to be a tough order to fill.

It's got to be like some giant trolling joke at this point, seriously. There is a point when delaying goes from a necessary evil to an unnecessary insult, and I think they may have crossed that line, unfortunately.

I hate to say it, but the story and characters have lost pretty much all their impact after this much time waiting.

Well people need to stop making fat jokes! Gesh.
