Totally the wrong guy to review a game like this & reading the review was really immature if you ask me. Screams like a guy who has never played a JRPG. Also this 'sexism' deal with games like these is getting really old. Are these western game journalist not aware that a large majority of the artwork in these games are drawn by females? Heck the character designer for Ninja Gaiden & DOA is a female.

The game is much more lenient than the past Atelier games in the time management & for me that is a welcome sight. Cause in the past game the time management became really frustrating at times.

For me the game is a solid 7 or 8 if you are a fan of the series. Thoroughly enjoying the game.
