PS3 viral web code cracked

A few days ago, Sony launched the PlayB3yond web site with a picture of a melting clock and minimal fanfare. Yesterday, the site updated to a feature a mysterious assortment of 26 clickable symbols that bear a passing resemblance to the PlayStation controller buttons. Mere hours later, the mystery has been solved by intrepid Joystiq reader Zelda X (who either has an inside source or way too much free time). Using the alphabet key and codes in the image above, PS3 fans can use the PlayB3yond site to unlock wallpapers, soundtracks, videos and behind-the-scenes interviews for some big name PS3 launch games.

Atleast we didn't have to sit there and look at a stupid rabbit and a hole then a twig then a tree then to find out it had nothing to do with the 360 or games really. My god that was the lamest crap I had ever seen, then the fanboys claiming it had to do with Halo 3 then the "how far does the rabbit hole go crap". Instead we get videos, wallpapers, music and more because I'm sure it's far from done.

I saw this last night before I went to bed, tried messing around with it some but couldn't figure it out. It's not a bad idea, unfortunately I can't watch these at work. I put the codes in and it says buffering forever.

look, i'm a gamer. check my gamerscore. i love video games and have been playing for 20 years now. i understand you disagree with me on the value of a PS3. now i have been punished with having 2 bubbles removed for (i presume) using offensive language and irrelevant posts (not that i am the only one here...)

i am now changing my behavior and ask you all for a second chance and the ability to speak on this site with 4 or 5 comments. i apologise for any of my posts that have offended people, but i don't think you should harass me for making a positive change in my interaction with this community.

This approach is great, actually having to work something out both mysterious and fun. This is way better than having such pointless, nonsense MS viral marketing for 360 with tiny little bunnies crawling around a tree that meant 'nothing' !!! or to have a nonsense 'our-colony' HaHaHa !!! learn something from the masters you MS freaks !

This was 10 times better than that viral thing Microsoft did, because a. its available to eveyrone, not just Europeans and b. it gives you behind the scenes and exclusive footage of PS3 Games.

Oh, BTW landofsand, I gave you pos. feedback as well. I felt thaqt i was in a pretty good mood that I have 6 bubbles now, so lately ive been giving anyone with good advice and not fanboy bullcrap pos. feedback. But just cause i hated M$ viral campaign, I loved their commercials for promoting the 360. Nothing gaming wise could ever come up with something like that. So 360 commercials = Awsome. PS3 viral thing = Awsome. Wii, havent seen anything of yet.
