Next-Gen.biz writes: Electronic Arts made waves with the announcement of Spore for iPhone, but Sega is also leading the charge into game development for Apple's device.
Sega's getting in on the action as well with a rendition of Super Monkey Ball for the iPhone, a seemingly great fit for the platform.But Sega likely has more unannounced iPhone projects in the works.
Super Monkey Ball producer Ethan Einhorn told Next-Gen in a phone interview that "it's a safe assumption" that Sega will be making games beyond Super Monkey Ball. "We have a great relationship with Apple and we're looking forward to exploring all of the other possibilities that come with such a great stable of characters," he said. "We're very excited about what the iPhone will bring to the cell phone gaming market."

Golden Axe is a great game I enjoyed it on the SMS, Genesis and in the arcade. Great game but it truly was a quarter eater back in the day. I wish Sega could get the rights to the arcade port of Moonwalker another great arcade game I enjoyed. Collect so many monkeys and become Robo Michael lol.
