Well, the preview is biased depending on whose writing it up and they probably often misjudge the impact of certain titles.

I just don't get how according to its software tracking, the PS2 doubled and the PS3 halved just like that. I trust its hardware sales much, much more than its software section.

I guess PS3 is in three different markets really. Web surfing market, DVD player market and Game market. Not doing devs any good.

Is owning a 360 moronic? Out of 8 guys that I work with 5 of their machines are out for repairs. Why would I buy that?! Until they fix their hardware I don't care what games it has.

For every 360 game sold in Japan, 4 Wii games were sold. It's 5 for the PS3.

Yeah I noticed that too. I didn't want to start a flamewar by pointing it out. PS3 dropped software sales by 30,000. Nintendo destroyed all as usual.

well ps3 had no major release and they had idol master. no big deal..it will go back down to low lv next week. in general 360 software do not have legs beyound the first 2 weeks in japan even with major releases, and i tink we already saw that for the past 2 yrs

whats with the slump in sales for the PS3 from 35-40,000 to 15-20,000 did japan just stop liking the system lol this has been happening since SSBB surfaced that really overshadowed everything i think. But that game is a MEGATON for the wii i know im getting SSBB on the first day. Didn't yakuza 3 come out where the hell is that at 0.o?

Consumers' rationality is bounded, which is a way of saying that people are morons. Yesterday I went to a friend's house and I realized he had a Core 360, and I asked him: "Why did you buy that? Didn't I tell you it breaks easily?". Ironically, he didn't have to say a word, he simply showed me his barely arrived coffin' with the instructions of how to get the piece of turd inside it to ship it to Microsoft's repair centers, lol.

Anyway, what the hell is happening with the PSP? It's owning so much as of late.

I wonder if people who write this get excited when ever sales of the other consoles go down for about a week, and the psp is on the top then vice versa a week later? The only reason people started buying that system in japan it's, because of that lame monster hunter game not cause of the system. Like the ps3 it has no games aside from the only ones i would take a look at being, god of war, and silent hill....besides that they system is boring.
