Curt Schilling's 38 Studios Goes Unreal reports that 38 Studios, the development house founded by Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, is the latest studio to adopt Epic's Unreal Engine 3.

Epic Games' UE3, used in games including Gears of War, BioShock and Mass Effect, will power an upcoming MMO from 38 Studios.

Founder Schilling is known as an avid MMO player, who once described himself as "hopelessly hooked" on Blizzard's World of Warcraft. He founded 38 Studios in 2006, originally naming the firm Green Monster Games, after the massive left field wall at Boston's Fenway Park.
