ATV Wild Ride 3D is the latest Nintendo 3DS downloadable title from Renegade Kid. It’s a visual upgrade to their Nintendo DS retail release of the same name, minus the 3D. This title is pure arcade racer, removing the power drifts and floating items. ATV Wild Ride 3D is a similar experience to Excitebots: Trick Racing in terms of the important of performing tricks in order to get to first place.
Renegade Kid is one of the best indie companies for Nintendo. From the Dementium series on the DS to Mutant Mudds on the 3DS, Renegade Kid always has a high level of quality in all of their titles that resembles a large studio more-so then an a smaller indie company. "Wild Ride 3D requires actual thought and planning but doesn't overwhelm you with it. You'll still enjoy riding big air and frantically beating your friends to the finish line. Nintendo Life: Bringing online racing to the 3DS eShop in any form is a pretty ambitious undertaking, but we'll say up front that ATV Wild Ride 3D gets that part exactly right. In our experience the online racing is fast, smooth, and reliable. As far as that goes, we genuinely couldn't ask for anything more, and the simple fact that it has online functionality might be enough for many gamers.
