The official channel for Sega's Phantasy Star Online 2 role-playing game began streaming two commercials on Friday for the game's PlayStation Vita version. The commercials show the game's ability to connect with 12 friends for cooperative play.
when will this release in the US??
It's being shown off at PAX maybe they will give us some info. I think we shall see a fall release date.
Last year, they said early 2013, but I don't know how early they mean because Q1 is about to end.
is this free to download onthe jp market??
yea but u need a jap vita account
Which sucks on the Vita because it moves all your bubbles around and crap... -_- WHY WON'T SONY GET ON FIXING THAT!?
Yeah forget about multiple accounts on the Vita. You have to have a separate memory card and reset your Vita every time you want to play the games for that region, which resets your backgrounds, saved searches and so on. It's a complete pain and a slap in the face to the consumers really. I don't know why they chose to lock it down to one account.
Piracy, pretty simple answer.
How does locking it to one account stop piracy? The PS3 has multiple accounts for different regions and they never locked it down in an update.
Looks pretty interesting - let's hope this hits WW soon. PSO on Dreamcast was a blast. Cross PS Vita / PC is pretty sweet also.
