The Wii U will miss out on the Witcher 3, but Nintendo fans can look Forward to These RPGs Instead

The Witcher 3 will be hitting the PC, PS4, and other "high end consoles (Xbox 720)" next year. Which leaves the Wii U out in the cold. While the Wii U probably isn't getting the Witcher 3, Nintendo fans still have a lot of other big name RPGs to look forward to. Check out Furious Francis' top upcoming RPGs on the Wii U.

Yeah especially Xenoblade 2 and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. One thing to note about all these games is there all exclusive to the Wii U. With the exception to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate with is also on 3DS.

After Witcher 2, my expectations for the third game aren't very high at all.

But... how is the Witcher at all relevant to a discussion of Nintendo RPGs?

The Witcher 3 is a big open world RPG that was announced for the PS4 and Xbox 720.

Basically leaving Wii U owners out. But even thought the Wii U isn't getting That RPG is getting a bunch of other big ones.

It is simply because its not announced for the console and people want more fodder to bash. That is pretty much how it works.

They take things that most people who actually like the Wii U or Nintendo consider irrelevant and make articles that superimpose some kind of resentment or negative emotion where there aren't any insisting they are missing out on things that they never cared about to begin with.

Then, anti-Nintendo fanboys flock to the article and subsequently their sites for stating what they wish to see and believe and give them hits which generate money.

They forget most Nintendo supporters aren't "super fanboys" who troll other console and refuse to by anything without their father consoles brand name on it. Most of them have a PC as well.

Seems like the he is reaching deep to get those last 2 titles. While I own a wii u and would love to see a Pokemon game on home console. Mist Walker may start making games on ps4 now that the hardware isn't exotic and crazy ken is gone.

Ken was stillt their in some form the last tiem I checked. There were also more issues with Sony then that.

Sakaguchi will not be releasing a game on Sony hardware anytime soon. He'd go back to Microsoft first.

It is sad witcher 3 will not be making its way to wii u. But honestly i would not be hyped for witcher 3 if i did not beat witcher 2. Also, that xenoblade dev game looks fantastic.

nice little list. The last story 2 being made has bugger all to do with XSEED though and everything to do with nintendo, since they own the ip and published it in japan and europe.

Already very tempted to get a wiiU in the near future but as soon as that was announced i'd buy one on the spot.

I wouldn't go that far. Intelligent Systems made a damn good Fire Emblem game on the 3DS. If they can make a game just as good on Wii U, that will be something.

The Last Story was fantasic, If there making a second one, that will be pretty good.

I'm I the only one around here that really wants an open world MMO Pokémon game? A big-ass open MMO world with other trainers and Pokémon just roaming around sounds so damn badass. And then the stadium battles! Players could become gym leaders! There are so many awesome possibilities!
