One week ago, PlayStation 4 was announced in New York City in a presentation watched by more than 15 million people. We met the new DualShock 4 controller, soaked up some impressive hardware specs and services, and saw a barrage of upcoming PS4 games — from inFAMOUS: Second Son to Bungie’s new title Destiny.
During the presentation, Lead System Architect Mark Cerny remarked that PS4 was made “by game creators, for game creators.” To test that theory, we met with two of PlayStation’s top game creators, SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida and SCE Worldwide Studios Senior Vice President Scott Rohde, to see which of PS4’s new features has them most inspired.
Huzaifah from eXputer writes, "My favorite type of genre in games is when enemies are merely animal fodder in the eyes of the protagonist's sheer power."
Fans of the action-adventure franchise have been eagerly awaiting news of a potential sequel to one of the best games on the PS4.
Umm ... how about this?
First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?
I had a great time with the second son. Never got to play the originals and hope they get remastered one day.
If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.
inFAMOUS Second Son was one of PS4's best exclusives, but does it hold up a decade later?
100%, locked 60fps and still look great all these years later, same with the expansion, definitely worth a look if people haven't played it yet, not the best games ever made but a good experience, hopefully a new infamous gets released
Never was my favorite infamous, but it was definitely a graphics showcase early on PS4. Still plays well with the unlocked frame rate.
Graphically It's a absolutely stunning game that still holds up today.
Didn't have all that much depth to it forcing you to play though twice for a platinum trophy a good and bad run it was a little disappointing how similar those were Delsin would be like I'm not doing that for you in a cutscene but the cutscene would play out and force you to do it anyway just as you would of in a good run
I did like the story however it got a lot of complaints back in the day people hated playing as Delsin instead of cole despite Coles story being wrapped up.
Overall though the map wasn't overly saturated with useless points of interest there was some collectibles and things to find but nothing compared to a Ubisoft game.
I think it was a good game if a little hollow I've played it through around 4 times now since it's so short.
Also it's DLC was great a full story expansion
All these developers showing their love for the PS4 is raising my hype and excitement even more. This holiday season can't come soon enough!
PS4 will be great. It seems like the devs are all in on the new hardware, which is always great for gamers.
Yea it seems the whole gaming community for the most part is giving PS4 their full support.
I never thought for a second I would be interested in a Sony console. I've always hated the dual shock controller and the load times but both seem to have been fixed enough.
I'd still have to try out the controller and if it feels good then I might make a purchase.
I'd rather get the new Xbox because I've had the last 2 and loved them, but all the rumors about it sound terrible.
Can't wait for E3.
"Bigger, better and more immersive game play only possible with a substantial increase in power"
I agree :)
Developers have fallen in love with the system and gamers as well. I expect a lot of great gaming experiences with the PS4.
This is what happens when a company listens to gamers and developers and chooses to fabricate a console based on their feed back instead of doing whatever they want while ignoring the pleas of gamers and developers everywhere.
Im glad that they got rid of crazy ken and its time for Nintendo to get rid of their CEO.
