LBP Vita dev: We are working on new projects, PS4 opens up 'new and interesting possibilities'

PSU writes:

"Last year's LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is one of the best games Sony's struggling handheld has yet received; developer Tarsier Studios (alongside Double Eleven) admirably embraced PS Vita's unique control features without sacrificing the innocence and creativity that make LittleBigPlanet so special to begin with. It's safe to say that PlayStation gamers should be excited for whatever Tarsier has next in store: the studio has confirmed to PSU that new projects are in the works."

Cant wait to cross play games especially rpg,s but i hope its availablle day 1.

Maybe it's city of metronome, the game they were working on before they made a deal with Sony.

The possibilities i'm sure are endless but you have to first convince the masses that its worth purchasing.

More BS, new possibilities, huh?...we would have seen em on PC. Upgraded hardware doesn't magically mean new experiences..it'll just be more of the same...with a better coat of paint.

gotta love marketing.

Give me a game thats like LBP on PC? And dont tell me minecraft. Thats why Im excited for next gen the only devs that matter to me are devs that make games specifically tailored for consoles like MM, GG and Sony santa Monica and others.

Anyway I still play LBP vita amazing game.

On a side note I love how PC gamers raged at how good Killzone Shadow fall looked, could tell they lost some of their graphical pride dare I say...

Throw a stone and you'll get a game like LBP on PC. I mean the mods alone from users are enough of a comparison to LBP. Not to mention all the free/and not free tools such as Game Maker where anyone can pick it up and make their own game.

I hope someone makes a PS4 version of LBP. They can make a better music editor. The one in the PS3 games is too low end. How about making a lot more instruments?

Oh man, i hope they restart their City of Metronome game. Looked so odd but very fascinating, would love to play it :D Reminds me of Psychonauts, another glorious odd game.

Reanimal – interview with Oliver Merlov (CEO, Tarsier Studios)

An interview with Oliver Merlov (CEO, Tarsier Studios) where I get to ask him about Reanimal, and whether he envisages the game to become its own long-standing franchise. I also get to ask him as to what effect being acquired by Embracer Group has had on the studio, and whether he thinks the studio would be open to working on its own version of an existing fairy tale. All this and so much more in what is (ultimately) quite an extensive interview… Enjoy!

Little Nightmares Review – A Wildly Imaginative Horror | Beastby

Little Nightmares is an engrossing experience that explores themes of innocence and gluttony, in a dark, twisted world. It may only have a run-time of three hours, but Tarsier Studios has created something special that will stick with me for years to come.
