The PS3 could launch with 24 titles and Wii with 30 titles according to new documents detailing the two companies' plans.

lol both console beat the 360's launch by far. there are alot of exclusives launching with each console. i think i would get the ps3 with resistance, motorstrom, gthd, full auto2 and maybe fear.

for the wii i would get zelda, red steel and excite truck.

both ps3 and wii have a good line-up which we can all agree is a good thing for us gamers. And with gears of war coming out and the ps3 and wii launching in Nov., i might have to drop out of nyu and forget the whole medicine thing. The Gift and Curse of the next-gen.

There is nothing in the PS3's lineup that screams come buy. As far as the Wii's Zelda, You know your getting a great game after months of delays.

On the PS3 hmm..( Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom , Mobile Suit Gundam: Target In Sight,) I would wanna play. All the other games are either mediocure or will be on the 360.

So as of right now I don't see why I would pay $600+ for the PS3. No anticipation with any of these games besides COD3, Rainbow Six: Vegas. I'm not too exctited for all the other titles form the Wii cause I'm not sure how the contoller will play out. I just wanna play zelda for now.

And you do know that both verions will have very similar graphics, right? Have you even played Zelda for wii yet? If not, how do you personally know that it is great game? Have you played any of the games coming out for the ps3? If not, how do you know that they are mediocre? Putting fanboyism aside for a second, you must agree that do not know anything about how any ps3 or wii title is going to pleasure us until we play the title on the conosole.

Those are pretty good lineups, the only thing for the ps3 that may hurt it is the fact there is only 7 of those games that are exclusives. Also i heard Ninja Gaiden is coming out early next year, and Fight night is in December now.

Hmmm... as much as I'd like to believe in these lists, I know there will be titles pushed. Just like for the 360, when we get within about 2-3 weeks several titles will be delayed.

Heck, Fight Night Round 3 was already delayed from Nov.17 until Dec.12 and it's a port!

As someone who is looking to buy either a PS3 or 360 i have to say that im not impressed by PS3's launch titles.

Resistance is the only title which i would want to play and even then i was slightly disappointed with the last video i saw. I guess there will be alot more titles in March when i actual have a chance to buy.

I would have to agree. I stood in line for one today and didn't get one but then I saw this list and Resistance is the only one I want right now anyways. When March rolls around the PS3 will be avaliable and more games will be out that are worth grabbing. In the mean time I'll get a Wii and play that until March

Well after seeing G4 the other day, Resistance and Lair look fookin bad @ss. Ill be gettin both systems and waiting for Gears of War to hold me off until then. Looks like a good year for games!

I'm pretty sure Ninja Gaiden Sigma isn't a launch title. It was only recently announced, and they're still working on adding extra stages, weapons including dual wielding, improving the graphics, and a new story mode featuring Rachel. Plus, they're reworking a lot of the cutscene fmv's to be in game or playable. As I haven't heard anyting about NGS being a launch title, or even a launch window title, and it seems like a lot of work is being done on it instead of just giving it a polishing, I'm gonna say it will probably be a few more months past launch before we see it in stores. But whenever it comes out, ps3 fans be sure to buy it! They're basing the future releases of the Ninja Gaiden series on the ps3 on the sales of Sigma(they've indicated that if it sells well, the sequels could be coming to ps3 in addition to 360).

Seriously, Ninja Gaiden is Tecmo not Namco, NHL & NBA 2k7 is not take two its 2k games, Oblivion is developed by Bethesda and published by 2k... i guess i'm the only one who noticed this =P

to take my word for it, but I can assure you Zelda will be a great game. This is not about fanboyism. This is Nintendo were talking about here kid. I've played all and have liked them. When you find a zelda game that sucked ass then come reply to me. I'm getting FF12 for the PS2 in 2 weeks so stop with the Fanboyism crap. I have all systems except Wii and PS3 right now.

The PS3, like I stated, has mediocure launch linups, besides like 3 games. All the others are already on the 360. I don't see why I would go out and get the PS3 just to play these games.

Yes your right we haven't played these games but I know nintendo stand for Quality not Quantity. Plus I've been gaming for like 20 years kid. Your probally some 12 year old. Anyhow, besides the games the fanboys tried to hype like RFOM,GTHD, I really don't see anything that great. I don't even know why Grand tourismo has the HD tittle when any game thats 720+ is all HD. Might aswell put HD after all the games.

Fight Night = been there done that

Elder's Scrolls = been there done that

Madden 07 = Playing that now

NBA 2K series = Played that already(don't own)

NFS carbon = Same crappy gameplay(tried the DeMO on Xlive)

Full Auto = It's no Twisted Metal 2

Blazing Angels = Don't need the Gimmicks on this one

Genji = sony can keep that game

Ninja Gaiden = I'll wait for the real next version.

So whats all the excitment all about these launch games? COD3, I would get on any console. Rainbow Six looks dope. As far as the Wii like I said before , I need to experience playing these games with the controller. My gamecube been collecting dust for 3 years, so maybe I just might get zelda for it. I'm not even gonna post the Games coming for the 360 this holiday. Quite frankly it embarasses the PS3's launch line-up. OFcourse these are just launch titles for the PS3.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma by Namco Bandi?! I think not! Tecmo is still publishing it and the trailer says Spring '07 (not even sure about that because the game is only 20% complete - well thats what the guy in charge of the development of the game said).
