Update: Dreamworks Drops HD DVD, But Wont Make Blu-ray For Now

It seems Dreamworks has gotten the OK from Toshiba to drop HD DVD because they have cancelled all upcoming HD DVD titles including the anticipated "Bee Movie" that was set for release in North America on March 11th.

Yea dreamworks is just stubborn for siding with the loser. Give them a 3 months and they will join us.

I can't believe they make the same anti-consumer move twice in a row.
First they take a considerable bribe and suddenly kill all BluRay releases while dumping the already produced disks and fuxx0r the BluRay camp, and now they do the same again and suddenly dump the BeeMovie disks that are already pressed and fuxx0r the HD-DVD guys...

Whats the matter with the execs at Paramount, can't they take a hint from Warner how to do such moves with a reasonable switch period to avoid annoying customers?
