Gun Bros 2 Review (Modojo)

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Gun Bros 2 is all about twin-stick shooting, and lots of it. Enemies with names like Pus Titan, Broliminator and The Maullusk crowd the screen, along with a T.O.O.L. army of minions, and you shred these creeps with a variety of high-powered weapons, or maybe you jump into a Honey Badger tank and unleash red laser death upon swarms of baddies. Regardless of how you approach this free-to-play sequel, you're bound to enjoy the blood-splattering, explosions and most importantly, co-op with a friend, at least until the grim reality sets in that the best possible gear comes at a price.

Why do you think Call of Duty sells so well?

Touch Arcade: Gun Bros 2 Review

Touch Arcade: It's been over two years since Glu's Gun Bros [Free] landed on iOS with a bang. A dual-stick shooter infused with freemium elements, Gun Bros' gameplay style was somewhat novel at the time and would be a precursor to the way iOS games would monetize in the coming years. Fast forward to today, and Gun Bros 2 [Free] looks to update and improve upon its predecessor in an environment that is vastly different than before. Offering more guns, more bros, and a streamlined experience for earning experience and currency, Gun Bros 2 is an enjoyable shooter, if you can get past the inevitable paywall.

PadGadget: Gun Bros 2 Review

PadGadget: They may not admit to it, but a gamer’s favorite feature when killing lots of things is the ability to collect loot. Picking up random, rare drops when in the middle of a firefight is like a drug. That’s why hardcore gamers will go back to a dungeon raid over and over again.
