With 15 days to go, Project Awakened has reached over $160,000 of it’s $500,000 goal with the aid of over 4600 backers. To say thanks, Phosphor Games has created a short clip using the in-game engine of the main character and a group of AI enemies doing the Harlem Shake. Check out the video and a behind the scenes clip below.
GamesBeat: Gemini is another crucial waypoint in Phosphor’s long and winding journey of trying to get its superhero idea -- previously known as Hero and then Project Awakened -- off the ground.
“Project Awakened is on the backburner,” creative director Chip Sineni admitted to RPS. “There are still people working on it, but it’s definitely not the studio’s focus right now. We’re still totally in love with the idea, but we’re still trying to figure out the right way to do it. We’ve taken a step back and said, ‘OK, let’s not rush this. If we’re gonna do this, let’s do this right.’”
News for Project Awakened's Kickstarter refund, World of Tanks Blitz, Battle for Graxia starter packs, and Deejoban's Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby visual update.
