DSOGaming writes: "Digital Reality has just released a technological demo – called Imperium Galactica: Stargazer – exhibiting its new Stargazer engine capable of generating customized planets in real-time."
Jeff of Just Press Start writes:
"Digital Reality’s Director of Marketing Balazs Horvath gave me a few minutes of his time to describe this trippy platformer from Suda 51. Strong gameplay features and gorgeous animations abound."
OXM UK: "It's a tough play... but it could have been tougher still. Fearful of deterring pain-averse players, Microsoft requested that developers Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture dial down the game's normal difficulty."
Bunch of blouse wearing sunday drivers! Quit crying and challenge yourself a little. Dying and learning from your mistakes are part of old school airplane shooters.
Nothing wrong with games being difficult even on standard play, but when it's insanely difficult at the normal level it could turn heads away. Have you guys played Shinobi for the PS2? The game was ridiculous and unnecessarily hard!
There was a platform level with invisible floors... come on! Earthworm Jim, Battle Toads all hard as hell, but respectfully hard.
I say that to say this nothing wrong with a challenge, but it shouldn't be insanely spiteful. I want to enjoy the game too
I guess that's why dark souls was really easy compared to Demon's Souls. Microsoft had them dumb it down for the casuals. Demon's Souls 2 needs to get made. Just abandon the mediocre dark souls game.
GameFan says:"It’s done, Sine Mora is conquered! Wait… there is an alternate ending? Okay, well until we unlock that, the review will have to wait. But for those of you who’ve already scoured through all the beautiful videos we posted earlier (click here if you haven’t), here are a few more that wrap up the ending (well the first one that is) to this amazing XBLA shmup."
Its a crime that the i-novae engine hasn't been used yet. Though its only been released recently the capability has been around for years. Its the holy grail of space sims. A galaxy with 100's of Billions (with a B) of stars each with planets that as close to 1:1 scale and distance as entertainment could allow. All done real-time.
No one has ever come close to what i-novae can do. That includes this tech demo, which isn't bad.
