TERA Rising goes Free-to-Play tomorrow, but today we learned that the Valkyon Outfitters, TERA's in game cash shop, won't be ready at this time. What does this mean for the financial stability of this MMO? Is TERA making a grave mistake?
From GameWatcher: "Publisher En Masse Entertainment has announced that it is shutting down after more than 11 years of activity in which it brought MMORPGs Tera Online and Closers to the West.
Neither Tera Online, which released in the West in 2012, nor Closers will be shutting down with the publisher, which is good news for fans."
Breach is a co-op action RPG that revitalizes the genre by fusing RPG-like depth, an open class system, and explosive third-person action mechanics, with ever-changing mission challenges.
TERA offers a great many ways to make your fortune. Use critical thinking and planning a strategy for your character in order to maximize their gold making potential.
Might have to try this now that its F2P. I'm sure they will be working around the clock to get that shop up!
No cash shop in place on a F2P launch? Odd. Someone must know something the rest of the industry doesn't...
They're probably under pressure to release this as soon as possible. It'd be crazy not to have a source of income from your new product. The cash shop is not ready. That is the logical conclusion. Either that or they turned into saints.
What should we do: Wait and see.
I wonder about the European server, I played Aion F2P and the starter option was unplayable at level 20 onwards, you can't even buy things from the other people. Hope their TERA F2P is better.
