GotGame: At $9.99, Nano Assault Neo is easily one of the coolest downloadable-only games you’ll find in the Wii U’s eShop and although not a lengthy game, the visual and gameplay polish that the game provides makes it an extremely easy recommendation for anyone that’s still on the fence or perhaps hadn’t even noticed it before.
Hardcore Gamer - Beyond a sale on Shovel Knight and other platformers, you can also save some money on Shin’En’s Wii U eShop offerings.
Anyone played Art of Balance yet? How is it? I think I should grab this one while it's cheap. Plus I want to support Shin'En, they're good.
Nano Assault Neo is definitely worth the pickup if you don't have it already. I love that one.
Developer Shin’en has just announced that their twin-stick shooter Nano Assault Neo is coming to PS4.
Excellent game and looks amazing too. It deserves as many sales as possible so I'm glad it's going to PS4
FanBolt writes: "Shin’en Multimedia hinted via Twitter that they may have a game in development for PlayStation 4. In response to yours truly, the company said, “Perhaps you can play another Shin’en shooter soon on your PS4”. We reached out to Shin’en to determine the validity of the Tweet and got this in response –"
Sweet. Shin'en has done wonders for Nintendo. Glad to see others will be able to enjoy them. I wonder if it will be either a port of Nano Assault Neo or a brand new iteration?
Also all the stuff Shin'en say about Wii U hardware being quite powerful can't be met with "Well, what do they know, they only make games for Nintendo anyway", anymore!
Yay ;-)
Maybe now ps4 owners will see why us wii u owners love to brag about shin'en so often.
Hope their new game finds some success!
Nintendo has done a complete 180 in light of support to indie games and this game is simply amazing on the WiiU. I predict that the indie community will create some of the most unique and must have titles this generation. Just look at journey on the PS3! You use to be able to tell what games were downloadable by their visual quality, size and scope. But that's not true anymore, as these small developers have access to pretty much the same tools as the big boys do on the WiiU. Very smart for Nintendo to include so much middleware into the dev-kits with this system.
I absolutely loved this game....it was a pleasant surprise for sure and glad to see Nintendo is supporting indie games with the Wii U.
