I think it's a great idea. Some people with agendas might want to view it as desperation, but I don't really care.

It's just Sony rewarding people for word of mouth.

This gen cause of financial issues within the overall company.Sony's marketing department unfortunately has taken a hit. So Sony relies more on 'Word of Mouth' to spread excitement for their product. For the most part it has done its job, so what is wrong with them 'thanking' their consumers for spreading the news on the Vita or any other Sony product.

Some people are pathetic, They need to let Sony do what they want to do, instead of critisizing every move they make.

Banks do this constantly.... Sony can too. What's the problem. I'm already gettin paid from this but only because my homies gettin another vita (wants the white 1) so I didn't even need word of mouth... Free dub for me, thanks again Sony, I thought ps+ would have been the last thing I thanked them for, but.... Here we are.
