This might be what KZ2 was to the E305 KZ2 CGI trailer, but you and I know better, that they'll never get there. I still respect them for trying.

Never underestimate the power of the PC.

Edit: I didn't say that. I just said don't underestimate it ;)

You're telling me that a current PC can pull off this level of graphical fidelity? Please...and if true why don't such examples exist yet? I mean we've StarWars 1313 and Watch Dogs so far and those are not even close.

yeah It won't look like real life in an open world. But why would I care. I just want a good game.

It can, look at crysis 3.

@Ames: Technically, you're probably right but you never know. The Samaritan demo was about on par or even better and was running real-time and although that isn't the same as gameplay it proves that level of fidelity is possible--just would require one powerful PC (which is what they're talking about--low settings wouldn't be anywhere near it--2077 could sort of be a new Crysis when it comes out where it could take years to run at max smoothly for most).

What is technically possible hasn't been seen as the market for it is so small it wouldn't be financially feasible (sli 690s or equivalent and such). Its exactly why we've yet to see a game look as good a tech demos from years ago and why the original Crysis was King for as long as it was. Crysis 3 and Metro are best looking games we've seen running in game ATM but even they were designed to allow for current gen consoles to be playable at some level.

Cyberpunk however isn't meant to be released till '14 or later so nex gen consoles will be lowest common denominator most likely and allow for better visuals because of it.

Do I think it will look exactly like the teaser? No, but it doesn't have to and "most" of it shouldn't be that far off. Today's engines are capable of wonders no game has yet to use at their fullest and it will only get better as developers further support PC and the latest tech.

It won't look exactly like the teaser, but if anyone can get close its CDPR. Witcher 2 is damn sexy.
