I went to gamestop hoping they would have a leftover wizard's edition, but they didnt. I did get the normal copy and put my preorder on The Last of Us Survival Edition though and I'm very excited to get home today and play.

You never had a chance to get one without a pre-order. I think it was exclusive to the Namco store in the US so Gamestop would never have had them.

I will be playing next Friday when it releases in Europe.

i think you're right about that. gamestop did say that they had the steel cased version though and i really wanted that. i got the two mixed up... whoops. regardless, i still got it :P

Have a look at the unboxing of the US version of the Wizard's Edition and you can see that Europe get the short end of the stick yet again with collector's edition. No gold coin, no artwork cards, no CD soundtrack, and it comes in a cheap looking box, whereas the US one comes in a classy, more sturdy-looking box with shiny gold writing and an amazing fold-out flap with interior art. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Why can't they just give us all the same one? I think we're also paying more for less here too.

I think the EU Box looks better and I like the sleeve but once i saw the packaging and how flimsy the box looked, I was disappointed.

I still can't complain though at the price it was on Amazon UK.
