Blizzard Entertainment has taken ownership of the domain HeroesofWarcraft.com. Back in November 2012, the gaming company filed a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum (NAF) against the owner, setting off speculation about the company’s future plans and rumblings that Warcraft IV might be in the works. The dispute for the domain name was won by Blizzard Entertainment, but not in the traditional sense. Instead of waiting on a decision to be handed down by the NAF arbitration panel, the complaint (Case No. 1470639) was withdrawn and the original owner transferred the name to Blizzard this week. The WHOIS record now shows “BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT, INC.” as the registrant. It’s unknown how the two sides arrived at an agreement or whether any money exchanged hands. So, what is Heroes of Warcraft?
Blizzard Entertainment is currently working on a AAA RPG FPS title, as per the resume of the company's Senior Director of Product Management.
the project is at least 5 months into development? Why should I care about a game that's 5, 6+ years away?
Can't wait for them to ruin it with seasonal content, online world for SP content, and constant balancing issues.
If they just barely started development then it'll probably be out by the time they decide to shut down Overwatch 2.
The new unit comprises over 500 developers representing the entire World of Warcraft development team.
I used to be anti-union, it kills productivity, investment and turns product mediocre. Their games suck anyways though so what was lost? Might as well get their people paid until they are dissolved.
With Blizzcon being cancelled it is nice to see them at the show. Blizzard Entertainment is thrilled to confirm their presence at this year’s Gamescom.
