The End of an Era: Looking back at the PlayStation 2's best games

GameZone writes, "We couldn't help but look back at some of the PS2's best games, whether they were sequels that lived beyond the hype or new IP's that remain quite popular in this generation of gaming. So, without further ado, here are various PS2 games that are well worth revisiting, even if that means tracking down a used system and playing the classics all over again."

Not being a d*ck to you here EliteDave, but Mikey, your question is a bit void with him only having one bubble =P

Just the thought that that was 12 years ago terrifies me. So many good times though =)

My top PS2 titles: The Suffering series, MGS2/3, Ratch and Clank, GTA, Prince Of Persia, Burnout 3, Need For Speed Undercover, Bloody Roar, Tekken...

plus so many more... PS2 will probably be the remembered as the greatest generation of home consoles ever since the 2D to 3D jump. Too many bad habits set in the industry this gen that i won't remember anywhere near as fondly as the trusty ol' PS2 =')

Those games were pretty mid. In fact, I'm surprised they even put The Getaway: Black Monday. But they left out much better games like Way of the Samurai 1-2, Okami, Jak 2 or 3, Final Fantasy 12, Yakuza 1-2, or SSX 3.
