Yea...i would buy a 3ds if they started porting wii games like zelda and Mario galaxy.. supposedly the 3ds is graphically the same as the wii, just with better shaders.

Jadedz4164d ago

For instance - The Wii can push more polygons overall, but the 3DS outclasses the Wii in everything thing else.

I would definitely prefer it on 3ds. OOT 3d is one of the most beautifull games I've played. Ocarina suits that level of graphics in 3d. It's amazing. So would MM.

I would rather they spend their time making a new Zelda game for wiiu.

And yes what Jadedz said. The 3DS is pretty much way better than wii. You have to remember it renders everything in 3D.

In terms of Graphical effects the 3ds wins. But I can't see something Like skyward sword running on 3ds. Then again Monster Hunter Ultimate is a graphically enhanced 3d version of one of the wii biggest and best looking games...

Yeah I would definitely buy a 3DS too for this.

I have not played MM at all. In a way I think I'm lucky because I can experience it but of there's an HD remake coming, then I'm on that!

I havrnt even played final fantasy 7 even though I dreamt about playing that game as a kid every day! I'm waiting on a HD remake on that too!

Agree. Despite being a gimmick, I really like the 3D. It feels like it adds to the game. I heard OoT looks stunning in 3D. If they do remake it, i HOPE it is for the 3ds.

Although, It should be easier for them too, since MM just used OoT assets, so in a sense, couldn't they just use OoT3D's assets too?

yeahokchief4163d ago

Stop asking them to waste resources on remakes altogether.

They're having a hard enough time getting us games out as is. Very lacklaster libary. I want to see new games. Not games i've played thousands of times already.

I like the game, in fact I am playing thought it little by little right now Virtual Console. I would love to see this re-imagined with today's graphics...Ohhhhh...Ahhhhh!!!

this is how it would look the video was a tech demo made by some industry veterans that wanted to make a majora's mask HD remake.

I love so much this game, its so complex and mature at some points. It's a very brilliant game.

Neonridr4164d ago

I would love an HD remake compilation with both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask for the Wii U.

EddieNX 4164d ago

I think Ocarina and Majoras mask atr just a little to old to be Uprezzed. They would have to be entirely remade. OOT is already on 3ds so they should put MM on there too in 3D.

On wiiu we should have WW , TP , SS HD collection :)

crazyturkey4164d ago (Edited 4164d ago )

I hope is a complete remake. New skins, character models music etc., not just the resolution upped to HD.

PopRocks3594164d ago

How about an HD collection of every 3D Zelda thus far? Maybe hires compilations of the 2D games for the 3DS? Just a thought.

Zelda Replay: Majora's Mask

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Is Ocarina of Time as legendary as I remembered it? For the most part, yes. In spite of a handful of missteps — a few obtuse puzzles, some tedious backtracking, and a clunky stealth sequence — I don't believe the last 23 years have been unkind to it. Ocarina remains a brilliant example of the medium, a landmark game that shaped the future of its own franchise and 3D gaming in general. After more than two decades it retains its inventive dungeon design, challenging puzzles, dynamic combat, wistful storyline, unforgettable music, and empowering open-air freedom. I feel confident calling it one of the greatest games of the fifth generation, even if I'm no longer prepared to list it among the five best games ever made."

Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.

Back when video rental was a thing, I rented out Majoria's Mask, I never finished it though. I did buy the 3DS version before the eshop shutdown, so maybe one day I'll finally play through the whole thing, it's amazing how well these games hold up though. I briefly played Ocarina of Time for a while and it was really fun.

23 Years Ago, Nintendo Unleashed the Riskiest Zelda Sequel Ever

'The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask' is a testament to Nintendo's game development skills.

This game is so trippy when one considers Link is dead, and tripping in limbo or something.

ill never forget my first experiences with MM, and its why its my favorite zelda title

luckytrouble391d ago

Majora's Mask, a major oddity in the series as the game is shaped around the story rather than the story being shaped around the game as Nintendo usually does. It wants you to be invested in saving the world and all the unique individuals in it. The game was made so fast too, this is really its saving grace. Certain aspects of the original game technically are a bit rough (poor Z targeting getting made into jank), and the boss fights just generally aren't good in either the original or the remake. The dungeons themselves are generally actually pretty interesting, but the true draw is everything that happens outside of them ultimately.

Such a gnarly game! The gameplay is so varied because Link can transform into totally different characters. Swimming around as a Zora was so chiilll
