kotaku.com: I can tell you exactly when I ruined Pokemon for myself. It was when I enlisted the help of an Action Replay and an obscure program that let me do just about anything in the game. It was like playing god. Pokemon god. And having this powerful ability completely changed how I see cheating.

Golden Axe is a great game I enjoyed it on the SMS, Genesis and in the arcade. Great game but it truly was a quarter eater back in the day. I wish Sega could get the rights to the arcade port of Moonwalker another great arcade game I enjoyed. Collect so many monkeys and become Robo Michael lol.

When it doesn't block achievements/trophies, which is almost never.
Uncharted 2 letting me buy a rocket launcher instantaneously and not penalizing me by blocking trophies was pretty sweet hehehe.
I remember playing BattleTanx on the N64, and I had the immortality cheat enabled. I never made it past a bonus level that consisted in killing as much tanks as you could before you died, wave after wave. I had to quit because I got bored of not being able to move on....
GTA...come on they added a whole new level of fun to the game.
Ulimited Ammo/health fair enough but the flying car cheat, All pedestrians riot, all pedestrians want to kill you were great
Cheating enabled by the game devs (like GTA for example) is acceptable. Cheating, especially in MP online, is right down awful.
I also got that Pokemon cheat, infinite everything, shining Arceus and shit. It was fun for a couple of hours, then you realize there is no goal in the game since you have everything and can do everything. Those cheats are bad. But those that give you op stuff like in AOE? They're fun, and they're not game breaking.
Never, If you can't play and appreciate what someone worked years on then either stop playing or find a new hobby. It's annoying when gaming online and it's even more annoying when PC elitests have to change everything in a game for it to be "enjoyable".
Of course when a developer puts in a "cheats" menu or changing options like in GTA or Saints Row then it's fine because it's not really cheating but using a different option. The second you mod or use glitches to gain the advantage then it's not okay.
