The days of good PC single-player RPGs certainly aren't numbered. Last year, ActionTrip witnessed The Witcher -- the first major release from Poland based computer game publisher/developer CD Projekt. ActionTrip rated the game 9.1/10.0 and found it to be one of the most enjoyable single-player RPGs in quite a while.
Recently, CD Projekt decided to return to the game and give it a proper polish. In addition to adding technical improvements, they also promised new content and other cool surprises.
ActionTrip talk to Michal Madej, Chief Designer on The Witcher, who explains more about what CD Projekt is doing to improve the game.
CD Projekt Red developers have shared their thoughts on Gwent, hinting at the card game making its comeback in The Witcher 4.
The Witcher 4 developer CD Projekt Red is working closely with Epic Games in order to bring structural improvements to Unreal Engine 5.
As a dev, I can tell you that with 5, Epic made quite a leap. It perhaps may have done *too much* of a fidelity leap that most of its target hardware (Both PC and Consoles) struggles to hit 60FPS with all the new cutting edge features they added.
It may have had some issues with this generation to find a good home, but by PS6 the engine will have matured and found a good matching partner 🙏
Now that Sweet Baby is involved in this game. I’m really concerned it’s going to turn into a woke agenda poster child. I hope not but after what happened to the tv show, I won’t be holding my breath on this one.
