We all like to complain about the lack of originality in gaming (well… we do) so let’s point out the things that we’ve been seeing too much of, as of late. That’s about it but it’s not like anyone reads these introductions so I will just get to it and elaborate as I go.
Oh, and in the process, let’s review a game called Rage. For those who don’t know, it’s an outrageously (we did) gorgeous shooter, from id software, that combines some very tight old-school gunplay with combat racing and a few other awesomesies. Fuck it. I’ll just go ahead and tell you now that it’s a very decent game and you should buy it but only if you like that “old school” part because you are going to find.
Welcome to Developer_Direct 2025, a behind the scenes look at new gameplay, features, and the latest info for some of the biggest games coming to Xbox in 2025. You’ll hear straight from the game creators at id Software, Compulsion Games, Sandfall Interactive, and a surprise studio for a game that we’re excited to unveil.
Looking forward to the announcfement of Halo MCC coming to other platforms. I'd love to see an influx of new players for some blood gulch matches.
Speculated games that could be that 1 more thing.
Resident Evil 9 (maybe imo)
Persona 6 (not likely imo)
FF Remakes (not likely imo)
New Lost Odyssey (definitely not, its not a long running franchise)
Ninja Gaiden 4 (maybe and hopefully)
I really hope it's Ninja Gaiden 4 but its probably Resident Evil 9.
Not saying this will happen at this show but apparently a new a Halo could get announced. Yep a brand new Halo. Could be a spin off or something but. A new a Halo announcement would be pretty wild.
Multiple games are currently in development at Bethesda Game Studios' id Software, based on the latest information.
I’d love another Quake, maybe even a more horror slanted Doom.
I’d be very happy with a new IP though.
"Quake II is a masterpiece; an enduring first-person shooter that shows iD Software at their technical and artistic best."
